1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Avencia Health (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

Avencia Health is operated by Dana Wallace, sole proprietor.

2. Educational Purpose Only

Avencia Health provides AI-powered health education.

All content, responses, and materials provided through the Platform are for educational and informational purposes only.

The Platform does not:

  • Provide medical advice

  • Diagnose medical conditions

  • Prescribe medications or supplements

  • Create treatment plans

  • Replace professional healthcare

Use of the Platform does not establish a physician–patient, naturopathic doctor–patient, or provider–patient relationship.

You should consult a licensed healthcare professional for diagnosis, treatment, or individualized medical guidance.

3. No Emergency Use

Avencia Health is not intended for emergency situations.

If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, call emergency services or seek immediate medical care.

The Platform does not monitor users in real time and cannot respond to urgent or crisis situations.

4. AI-Generated Content

The Platform uses artificial intelligence to generate responses.

While Avencia Health is designed to prioritize safety, evidence-informed reasoning, and clarity:

  • AI systems may produce incomplete or inaccurate information

  • AI may misinterpret user input

  • Information may not reflect the most recent clinical guidelines

You acknowledge that reliance on information provided through the Platform is at your own discretion.

5. User Responsibility

By using Avencia Health, you agree that:

  • You are responsible for decisions made based on the information provided

  • You will consult a qualified healthcare professional before making medical decisions

  • You will not use the Platform as a substitute for professional medical care

The Platform is intended to support informed decision-making — not independent medical management.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Avencia Health and its operator shall not be liable for:

  • Decisions made based on Platform content

  • Health outcomes arising from reliance on information

  • Direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from use of the Platform

Your use of the Platform is at your own risk.

7. Membership & Payments

Paid membership provides access to educational AI responses.

Membership does not include clinical services, medical care, or professional oversight.

Subscription fees are billed according to the plan selected at checkout.

You may cancel your membership at any time. Access will continue until the end of the current billing period.

Refunds are not guaranteed unless required by applicable law.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Platform for emergency medical situations

  • Attempt to obtain individualized treatment plans

  • Misrepresent your identity

  • Use the Platform for unlawful purposes

Avencia Health reserves the right to suspend access for misuse.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

10. Modifications

Avencia Health may update these Terms at any time.

Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any revised Terms.
